Godspeed Resilience Mugs
Maruasa Porcelain Co.
Godspeed's new Resilience mugs made in Gifu, Japan.
The Maruasa Porcelain Factory is located in the Tajimi area of Gifu, Japan where more than half of Japan's ceramics are produced.
The Matsubara family owned and operated business is over 100 years old having opened in 1916 and continue to produce some of the worlds most renowned ceramics.
All ceramics are baked at 1,300 degrees or above for 22 hours resulting in high endurance products typical of Japanese craftsmanship.
I had the pleasure of working with Keishiro Matsubara after being introduced to him by a mutual friend, Yoshiteru Yoshida (world famous coffee champion & nice guy ) from Deus Ex Machina, Tokyo who of course, source their ceramics from Maruasa Porcelain Factory.
